Awaken Hearts - a workshop of self-discovery, connection, and intuition for youth.

The intention of the workshop is to allow the teenagers  to tap truly into their intuition, understand the inner guidance and be more focused, calm  and motivated. They will be able to have more insight into how to create their future according to their true needs and desires.

Description:

This is a 4-week workshop series for youth ages 12 to 16 who identify as intuitive, and empathetic.

In this workshop we will teach youth skills that will help them understand their own unique skills, and how to use their intuition for self-discovery and help them navigate their daily experiences. Some of the topics we will discuss include:

- Intuition - how to differentiate between intuition and the "false-self." In order for us to see, identify, and live an authentic life, there needs to be an opposite to help us make the distinction (false-self). We'll explore ways to distinguish between that voice that will help us get aligned with our authentic-selves (intuition), and that which creates dissonance in our lives (false-self).

- Self-discovery and intuition - we will explore ways to develop and tap into our intuition to answer questions that are important to us, for example: What's my purpose in life? How can I make the right decision in any specific  situation I encounter?

- Grounding and protection. Children and youth tend to be very open to different energies in the environment. From Mindfulness to crystals we will explore ways to ground ourselves and protect our chakras, auras, and personal spaces.

Youth are encouraged to bring their mats, journals and something to cover their eyes

The workshop will be guided by Marialuisa Elias

Marialuisa is a Registered Social Worker/Psychotherapist, Energy and Sound Healing practitioner and co-founder of Transcendence. Marialuisa has extensive experience assisting people in achieving personal, interpersonal, emotional, and/or professional goals from a client-focused, anti-oppressive and strength-based approach. She offers empathetic, gentle, yet empowering support, encouraging all individuals to go within to find answers, follow their dreams and become their own agents of change.

Over her years of experience as a Clinical Counsellor and Psychotherapist, she has learned that we are more than body and mind. We are also heart and spirit. To achieve wellness and happiness we need to balance and nurture each of these areas. All of us came to this world to achieve our greatest potential and to become agents of positive change, love, compassion, light, connection and divine wisdom.

Fee for 4 classes - 155 $ plus HST
